Pantheon
This roller coaster from Busch Gardens Williamsburg will open as the World’s Fastest Multi-Launch coaster. Themed after mythological gods, riders will go crazy for this ride as they travel through thousands of feet of beige track. Reaching a maximum height of 180 feet and maximum speed of 73 mph. Not to mention 5 airtime hills, a 95 degree drop, and 2 insane inversions. An anticipated coaster that no enthusiast wants to miss!
Jurassic World Velocicoaster
Floridians: Your summer is just about to get better! After three years of construction, Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando is debuting a coaster that’ll get you roaring with excitement as much as it will roar at you! Standing at 155 feet, riders will dash through 4,700 feet of twists, turns, 4 inversions, and two high-speed launches all at speeds approaching 70 mph. The debut is months away. Icebreaker
Florida is getting another great coaster! This time, at SeaWorld Orlando! Prepare to race through 1,900 feet of track at 52 mph. At 93 feet, it’s not the biggest coaster there is, but it’ll sure be a great asset to an already amazing park! And let’s not forget to mention the 100 degree vertical drop. That’s right. 100 degrees! The Steepest Drop in the World! Construction was done just last month and the debut is just around the corner. Will you be one of the first riders?
Emperor
Check this out! The West Coast’s Very First Dive Coaster! How cool is that? Opening at SeaWorld San Diego, this coaster stands at an awesome 150 feet. Riders will zoom through at speeds approaching 60 mph, encountering a 143-foot 90 degree drop and incredible inversions. This tribute to the enticing Emperor Penguin will give you chills, as if you were diving into the arctic frost-covered ocean. West coasters: You might not wanna miss this!
Dare Devil Flying Machines
San Antonio, Texas: Get ready to turn, flip, flop, and dive. Because that’s exactly what this new thrill ride from Six Flags Fiesta Texas does. Riders will be hoisted five stories in the air; experiencing a variety of twists, turns, and periods of weightlessness. If you’re a fan of rides that constantly flip, or a steampunk-style theme, you’ll love this just as much as any top roller coaster!
Monster
The completion of what is known as Grona Lund’s greatest attraction is This B&M inverted Coaster. Standing at 11 stories, riders will travel at 56 mph through nearly 2,300 feet of track, featuring four inversions. Test riders have already ridden this ride that is scheduled to open on May 5th. Wooden Dragon
This wooden coaster hails all the way from Licheng, China and is already a big talk amongst enthusiasts. Jinan Sunac Land will be proud to present Wooden Dragon, a coaster that stands over 7 stories high and travels over 2,600 feet of wooden track at 46 mph. Not the tallest or fastest roller coaster, but people are raving over it and can’t wait for it to open
Leviathan
Prepare for what Australia is claiming will be The Greatest Family Coaster! Brace yourselves for 90 seconds of thrilling drops, twists, and turns at speeds approaching 50 mph! This 3,281-foot Woodie will be a must-ride for Aussies and coaster enthusiasts everywhere!
